JASG continues to contribute to the aviation industry by supporting young people which is the key to a sustainable business.

The Hong Kong International Aviation Academy and Vocational Training Council signed the Memorandum of Understanding for the “VTC Earn & Learn Scheme for Aviation Industry” on Monday, 25 June. Dino Lui, our General Manager – Service Delivery was invited to the ceremony and attended the press conference as we are one of the very first companies who participated in this scheme.

This is a two-year fundamental aviation diploma programme starting in September this year which offers apprenticeship in companies, as well as knowledge-based and theory-oriented classes.

As an employer partner of the scheme, JASG will provide participants on-the-job trainings in which our trainers will share their working experience and knowledge. The curriculum includes fundamental aviation knowledge, airport and airline basic operations, practical air cargo handling, ramp service operations and more.

“This scheme facilitates the recruitment of new hires which can benefit the long-term development of the industry. Apprentices are offered the opportunity to work in the passenger services and ramp operations.” said Dino.
